Esme Yarnell is a licensed therapist in West Ashley, SC. Esme is an L.M.S.W who received her bachelor’s degree in social work from The University of South Carolina and her master’s degree in social work from The University of Denver. She believes that everyone should have their needs met with compassion and acceptance because it takes courage to come into counseling. Esme works hard to help clarify the issues her clients wish to address and collaboratively develops a plan to manage challenge, make changes, and build skills. Her focus is working with children, adolescents, and young adults ranging from 5-25 years of age who struggle with depression, grief, ADHD, ODD, difficult life transitions, anxiety, addictions, out-of-home care, and trauma-related issues.
Ari is a a 5-year-old whippet mix from Columbia, SC. Ari loves to go on long walks, work with his mom, chase squirrels, and receive pets from humans. He is a registered therapy dog, which means he can work with his mom to help her clients overcome their struggles. His favorite human foods are chicken, green beans, and sweet potatoes because he likes to maintain his athletic stature. Ari hopes to meet some new therapy friends soon! Paw you later!
